Vyacheslav Letkov

Vyacheslav was born in the Timoshkino village of the Dmitrovsky district, Moscow region. He attended the V.M. Dyuzhaev’s course at the Fedoskino Miniature Art School. He is the master of the highest qualification who has been creating traditional Zhostovo artwork at our factory since 1956. The clean forms and attention to the minute details make the pieces by this artist true high-class work of art. Vyacheslav’s works have been published in several books on folk art. Member of the Union of Russian Artists. Recipient of the Ilya Repin State Prize. Merited Artist of the RSFSR honored with numerous awards and prizes. The works by this artist are owned by the museums in Russia and abroad.
