Nelli Solomatina

Nelli was born in the town of Stupino, Moscow region. She attended the Fedoskino Miniature Art School and learned from P.I. Plakhov. Nelli has been working at our factory since 1982. She artfully applies traditional Zhostovo painting techniques to create interesting floral compositions on the surface of the trays. Nelli uses golden foil and metallic powders which in combination with thick oil paint turn into sunrays playing on the leaves and petals of artistically scattered flowers. Participant of art exhibitions. Member of the Russian Union of Artists. The works by this artist are kept in the Museum of the Zhostovo Factory of Decorative Painting.
