Irina Sokolova

Irina was born in the Zhostovo village and graduated from the Zhostovo Factory College for Painters. Traditional Zhostovo patterns are performed in the artist’s individual manner. The floral ornaments are painted with small brushes where each small brush stroke adds to a sophisticated mosaic and a complicated colour scheme. Irina’s tender and romantic compositions look seamless on the Zhostovo trays and other items. Participant of art exhibitions.
