Evgenia Meshkova

Evgeniya was born in the Pansionat village of the Mytishchi district. She learned the craft from M.V. Lebedev at the Zhostovo Factory College for Painters. She has been working at the Zhostovo Factory of Decorative Painting since 1992 and currently holds the position of the leading artist. Evgeniya mastered all traditional painting methods and techniques and can perform works of any complexity level – from decorative painting in interior design to decoration of miniature items. Her unique style is reflected in a big variety of floral forms and composition in interesting colour schemes. Participant of art exhibitions, whose works were recognized with numerous awards and diplomas. Member of the Russian Union of Artists. Evgeniya has been an ambassador of the Zhostovo folk art at many exhibitions and events in Russia and abroad.
